Title: IT Desktop Technician

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team with 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience who excels in providing top-tier support to end-users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of various technologies. The IT Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our network and assisting users with their technical needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide friendly and effective IT support to employees, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Create, respond to, and resolve IT support tickets while maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Troubleshoot and support PCs, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity issues with a customer-first mindset.
- Educate and assist employees with technology issues, ensuring they feel supported and empowered.
- Follow established IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Take ownership of technical issues, seeing them through to resolution with minimal supervision.
- Participate in IT projects and assist with system administration tasks as needed.
- Support users on physical desktops, laptops and Virtual Desktops
- Complete timely resolution for support tickets.
- Create knowledge base articles for self-help issues.
- Maintain hardware and software within ticketing system.
- Onboard and remove employees.
- Ability to work in a "roll up your sleeves" environment.
- Ability to work during normal business hours with occasional off-hour/weekend projects.
- Ability to identify problems, draw valid conclusions, and suggest solutions.
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-driven technology professional able to work with a team at solving problems and completing projects on time. Along with the ongoing development to improve operations and address changing needs with technology.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, OneDrive, Sharepoint and Teams, MFA, Zebra printers, and networking concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, troubleshooting virtual desktop environments, supporting mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Surface tablets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on user-friendly support.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer support requests efficiently.
- Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous IT support experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of Mac OS, iOS, VMWare, Horizon, SySAid, Google Docs, DNS, DHCP.
