Description:
Position: Java Developer
Location: Onsite, Lone Tree, CO
Duration: 12 Months
Note: Looking for independent candidates only.
Experience:
- 3 years in software development and data products
- 3 years in data integration design patterns
- 3 years in DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban
- 2 years coding in Java, building REST APIs, using messaging/streaming technologies, and tools like Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira
- 2 years with Spring Boot, Spring Batch for data integration pipelines
- 2 years writing automated tests for data interfaces & pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M
- Familiarity with GitHub, Harness, Launch Darkly, mabl
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud technologies
- Financial Services industry experience
- Quick learner of new technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Java-based components and interfaces
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
- Prepare and produce software releases
- Investigate and present new technologies for architectural review
- Develop documentation and assistance tools
- Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities
- Troubleshoot development and production issues
- Design and develop applications using Java EE platforms
- Utilize common design patterns and test-driven development
