Job Description:
Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation in project management.
Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications include Green Belt certification and/or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Designs operational sequences and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment to enhance product performance.
Assists in integrating inspection and testing requirements into the production plan.
Evaluates the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure efficiency, and initiates corrective actions to address issues and maintain product quality.
Provides engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to maximize the use of equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensures that all processes and procedures comply with regulatory standards.
