Project Operations Specialist

Location: Kankakee, IL
Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Operations Specialist
This role is going to be onsite in Kankakee, IL - MUST be local
One year W2 contract with potential extensions

Job Description:

• Provide development and technical support to R&D BioProcess Sciences projects through laboratory work.
• Assist in the development and improvement of existing processes at the laboratory small scale.
• Plan and execute experiments.
• Collaborate and coordinate activities with internal and global R&D teams.
• Document laboratory work in Electronic Lab Notebook.
• Summarize development activities in memos and development reports.
• Provide data summaries to cross-functional teams.
• Report to Manager or Senior Manager.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in engineering, biology, chemistry, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Basic time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft software.

Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Experience with statistical software such as JMP or Minitab is a plus.
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with statistical analysis.
