Our client is currently seeking a Senior Mobile Performance Tester. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance, stability, and scalability of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance, scalability, and reliability of mobile applications.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed performance reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline alongside development teams.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve automated functional and performance test scripts from scratch.
- Set up and execute automated UI tests using Appium with Java.
- Guide and mentor junior team members within the Mobile QA Automation Team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in mobile app performance and functional testing.
- Proven ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Process Oversight Requirement: Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining quality standards.
- Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages, familiarity with mobile application architectures, and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as JIRA/Zephyr.
- Experience with XCUI and Espresso for native app performance testing, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in financial or trading services is a plus.
