Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer, where you will rapidly iterate and develop cutting-edge internal tools for a highly efficient analyst team. You will be part of a small, agile team working on a product that evolves quickly to meet specialized use cases.
Responsibilities:
- Implement major features in a web application using Phoenix LiveView in Elixir.
- Collaborate closely with analysts to address feature requests, develop new features, and resolve bugs.
- Work with external teams to integrate new data sources.
- Support the creation of a platform for analysts to host and share insights.
- Maintain consistent availability during core hours (10 AM - 6 PM PST) with some flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in Elixir and familiarity with Phoenix LiveView.
- Experience handling data from API endpoints, GraphQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to identify and fix bugs in live services using logging and metrics.
- Experience developing internal tools or applications with a focus on intuitive user experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining microservices in languages such as GoLang.
- Experience collaborating with analyst teams focused on fraud investigation or anomaly detection.
- Experience in the gaming industry.
- Experience supporting teams using Livebooks for data analysis.
