Description:
Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in AWS, Big Data, Spark, SQL
- Minimum 2-3 years in Shell Scripting
Skillset:
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace)
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Spark, Shell/Perl Scripting, and/or Java
Job Description:
- Expertise in Java J2EE and design techniques
- Experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs
- Multi-skilled with expertise across the software development lifecycle and toolset
- Recognized as a leader in Agile methodologies and team cultivation
- Acts as a coach for at least one technical skill
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, and security
- Keeps up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies/trends and applies this knowledge to support business needs
- May give speeches and write articles outside the firm
