Description: Our client is currently seeking a SRE - Site Reliability Engineer - Senior (6-10 years of experience) located in Austin, TX. This is a Hybrid position, contract to hire and NO C2C is currently available. A few of the qualifications and functions for this position are:
- Work closely with the DBA and Dev team, their downstream system uses Oracle.
- Experience with MongoDB, MS SQL, .NET and able to write queries.
- Familiarity with compatibility testing experience, yet don't need to have coding experience.
- Will maintain system reliability, troubleshooting alerts, and dashboards.
- Familiar with Spunk, App Dynamics, Networking, and databases (need basic concept understanding - DNS local vs global).
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, bit bucket, and zone failovers.
