Description: Position: Structural Designer
Type: Permanent FTE
Location: Hybrid to Plymouth, MN
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 (a variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.)

Description: Position: Structural Designer

Your role:
The Designer works with Engineers and Project Managers to prepare complete construction documents and assists during the construction support phase.
- Layout plans, sections and details to specified CAD standards working directly with engineers or project managers.
- Provide direction and distribute work to Technicians.
- Review and back-check the Technician's work.
- Coordinate designs with team members and product vendors.
- Communicate with clients and/or contractors regarding RFI's and field questions.
- Review shop drawings.
- Further develop design skills to support the advancement of technical expertise.
- Attend internal coordination meetings and client coordination meetings.
- May require occasional travel for site observations and field measurements.
Your resume must include:
- Certificate in construction-related design/drafting or higher and at least 3 years of directly related experience.
- OR at least 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of certificate.
