Technician Integration Engineering III

Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Technician Integration Engineering III.
This fully on-site contract role is based in the greater Renton, WA, area and involves working on environmental stress screening of flight hardware. The successful candidate will be key in mentoring junior technicians, operating and maintaining advanced test equipment, and driving process improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship and instruction to junior technicians on test methods and vibration control installation techniques.
• Conduct hands-on environmental stress screening, including thermal, vibration, and pressure testing, on flight hardware.
• Assist with installing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining vibration tables, thermal chambers, pressure systems, and data acquisition equipment (e.g., pressure transducers, thermocouples, load cells).
• Coordinate daily test activities with engineers and management, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project goals.
• Maintain equipment, work areas, and machines in compliance with 5S standards and established maintenance programs.
• Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation according to defined test plans while managing multiple test projects concurrently.
• Identify, communicate, and help mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED equivalent with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Associate or technical degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of environmental test experience or demonstrated competence in vibration, shock, or specification performance testing.
• Proven experience in manufacturing and test processes, including managing multiple projects and implementing process improvements to optimize test methods.
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis, and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic test equipment.
• Proficiency with software systems, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
