Role Overview: This role involves close collaboration with product managers, engineering teams, and other designers. Additionally, the candidate will work with business partners in retail operations to gain insights into the inner workings of our stores.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or familiarity with payment systems.
• Technical knowledge.
• Experience with analytics and UX success metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop user journey maps, service blueprints, and other visualizations to document the current state and future vision for our point of sale ecosystem.
• Identify user needs and pain points, working with stakeholders to prioritize and address them.
• Plan and conduct user research, involving team members and stakeholders to better understand end-users and their problems. Visiting locations to interact with users face-to-face is highly beneficial.
• Lead collaborative efforts and facilitate sessions using various workshopping frameworks with stakeholders to align on a shared vision.

Note to Vendors:

• Top 3 Skills: Data visualization experience, some understanding of Power BI, strong UX/UI background.
• Soft Skills Needed: Strong presenter, strong communicator, and researcher.
• Project Support: Reporting and insights within merchandising.
