Description: Our client is currently seeking a Workday HRIS Analyst
Workday Payroll / Absence / Time Tracking Consultant
This role will be a member of the HR Systems team and responsible for supporting with Workday system to meet the business needs. Provide expert consultation, manage cross functional collaboration across multiple teams and ensure the end-to-end process are designed and operating smoothly. The candidate will be supporting the launch of Workday, and support Payroll, Absence and Time tracking module configurations.
Job Duties
The HR Systems Functional Analyst - Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking is responsible for supporting functional projects and configuration activities in Workday system.
Build and develop relationship with key stakeholders to understand the pain points, challenges and requirements to come up with creative out of the box solutions that meets business needs.
Configure and maintain the Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking modules to align with business requirements.
Work closely with HR teams and functional leads to gather requirements and provide solutions within the Workday platform.
To be able to analyze and translate the functional requirements into workday configurations.
Develop training materials and provide training sessions to end users on Workday processes and system features.
Partner with cross-functional teams in the development, testing and implementation of enhancements/releases (new functionality, Workday updates, etc.)
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the system's efficiency and user experience.
Support the reporting requirements in the Workday by assisting with data extraction or build and schedule reports.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years overall experience in supporting enterprise HRIS applications
2-3 years of Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking configuration experience
Solid experience in Workday Reporting and Calculated fields and EIB required
Knowledge of absence management processes, including time-off tracking, leaves of absence, and US & compliance requirements (CA specific preferred).
Strong understanding of HR Systems & Processes (Workday) and HR operations
Candidate must be a self-starter who possesses strong customer focus, command skills, comfortable implementing change, and dealing with ambiguity.
Advanced analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
The ability to handle multiple high-priority requests/tasks and work independently with limited direction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present training and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels in the organization to enable effective utilization of Workday
