Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for marketing and leasing our properties, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and thoroughly understanding the property's amenities, services, and policies. Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in, including showing properties, answering questions, and negotiating lease agreements.
• Market and promote available properties to potential tenants, ensuring that all properties are properly advertised and showcased.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property rentals, including lease agreements, rent payments, and property maintenance.
• Utilize software such as Tenant Turner and AppFolio to track and manage the leasing process and other administrative tasks.
• Conduct routine property inspections to ensure compliance and to identify any maintenance issues.
• Assist with property maintenance, including scheduling repairs and coordinating with maintenance staff.
• Stay knowledgeable about local market conditions and competitor properties to inform leasing decisions.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in real estate or a related field is required.
• Experience in the field of property leasing or a related role, such as property management or real estate sales.
• Strong sales and marketing skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with AppFolio.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of local and federal laws and regulations related to property leasing and management.
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with property maintenance and repair coordination is a plus.
• Proficiency in data entry and file management is necessary.
  
  

Salary

• This is a commission sales position
• Commissions paid on move in's
• Gas and/or Mileage reimbursement
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
  
  

Experience

• Property leasing: 2 years (Preferred)
  
  

License/Certification

• Driver's License (Required)
• Real Estate License (Required)
