What are the responsibilities and job description for the Probation Officer position at Judicial Alternatives of Georgia?
The Probation Officer works directly for the Chief Probation Officer and is responsible for overseeing an assigned caseload of offenders placed under supervision by the sentencing court. The Probation Officer is required to enforce all terms and conditions of the court order, attend weekly court sessions, report all violations in a timely manner, and to process all paperwork necessary during the period of supervision. Additional duties include but are not limited to administrative tasks to ensure the daily operations of the office are carried out efficiently, and other task assigned by his or her immediate supervisor.
