Benefits to you
- We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees], including mental health coverage.
- The hourly equivalent for this position is $26.82 - $41.61. [OR the annual salary for this position is $55,788 - $86,544.]

The
Yamhill County Circuit Court
is hiring a Judicial Court Clerk (Court Operations Specialist).
In this role…
You will set up the courtroom and attend court to complete forms, swear in witnesses, mark exhibits, and manage juries. You will make an electronic record of all court proceedings, track events and pending court actions for a judge, and monitor motions, orders, and other paperwork. You will accept and record documents filed with the court, check documents for accuracy and completeness, and process orders, judgments, and decrees of the court. You will also file, archive, and retrieve records.
Additionally, you will help attorneys and litigants in using the court system by answering questions, scheduling appearances, and providing information about court procedures, policies, and the status of cases. The customer service you provide will be in person, over the phone, and in writing. You will also perform data entry, process paperwork and schedule hearings for civil commitments, and manage the arraignment docket, which includes scheduling appearances, generating calendars, and distributing copies.

Minimum Qualifications

Working Conditions
- This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
- Occasional after-hours or overtime work may be required.
- Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Frequent phone and in-person contact with people who may be facing challenging life circumstances, highly stressful situations, or trauma. This position has daily interaction with case parties, including self-represented litigants and attorneys, within a high-volume office that can have many interruptions.
- Long periods of sitting or standing.
- Regular use of the following equipment: recording equipment, telephone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
