As a key member of the CVICU team, you will be responsible for making clinical assessments, managing treatment autonomously, and providing exceptional patient care. You will serve as a patient advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality, and instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care RN experience, with a strong background in critical care and cardiovascular nursing. BLS certification is required, with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. A BSN degree is preferred, and CCRN certification is highly valued. NIHSS stroke certification is also required within 30 days.
