Job Title: Match Support Specialist
Reports To: Match Support Program Supervisor
Location : Remote with Ann Arbor office days (Michigan ONLY candidates)
Status: Full Time
FLSA Status: Exempt
**The position is mainly remote, but it requires select in-office days in Ann Arbor each month and limited travel throughout the state to visit families or attend meetings and events.

Job Summary:
- The Match Support program is a division of the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) that provides short-term interventions for families who are in the process of adopting a child from foster care whom they have been matched with from the MARE website.
- Specialists have weekly scheduled calls with clients; attend monthly home visits and meetings; provide support, resources, and community service information; and complete required documentation.
- Match Support Specialists have low caseloads so that they can provide personalized services to meet each family’s unique needs.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human service field is required
- Experience with adoption, foster care, or child welfare is preferred.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License with proof of appropriate auto insurance
