Job Summary:
- Teaching skills involving language and social skills, fine and gross motor, relaxation, play, and ADLs
- Working as a team with other departments including Speech and Occupational Therapy
- Obtaining/Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to work with children and teenagers of various developmental levels
- Ability to be trained in and comply with Applied Behavior Analysis intervention methods
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related field preferred. Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred
- Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively in order to follow through with individualized behavior plan, emergency procedures, and report on activities.
