About Judson Center – Since 1924, Judson Center has been a leader in human services. We have locations in five counties, Wayne, Washtenaw, Oakland, Macomb and Genesee, providing compassionate and comprehensive services to thousands of children, adults, and families annually.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of a Job Coach is to provide support to students, ages 15-26, in completing summer job internships. Summer Job Coaches work in the community at businesses that are designated internship sites.

- Weekday opportunities with varying hours available
- Job training is provided
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to teach young adults their job tasks
- Ability to help an intern overcome barriers to succeed at work
- Ability to conceptualize/develop supportive tools to enhance success
- Ability to properly evaluate and assess individuals' needs to a successful level of job
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with people with disabilities or similar experiences is preferred
- Use of own vehicle to drive to job sites is required and applicant must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
