MATERIALS CLERK (Part-time position 20 hours per week)
Manages and provides procurement and distribution of operational and clinical supplies to Judson Park.
Maintain Central Supply inventory on a weekly basis for designated items.
Maintain previous medical supplies in organized labeled areas to ensure that they are accessible for use until depleted.
Manage supply delivery process for each individual unit and department at Judson Park.
Each week accept order from medical supply company for each unit.
Deliver medical supplies to the correct unit and stock on their designated shelves.
Accept and deliver all other supplies to appropiate department.
Provide packing slips to manager / department managers noting any supplies that have not been received.
Assist unit managers in obtaining medical supplies that may still be housed in central supply by completing the list of supplies needed noting any supplies that are not available.
Maintain communication with all department managers, Director of Nursing, VP of Health Services, Executive Director of Judson Park, in regard to any questions pertaining to medical and operational supplies including office and environmental services supplies.
Maintain par levels of copy paper and stationery in designated areas.
Run and analyze reports from supply / materials software as director by management.
Assist department managers in identifying new or alternative products.
Assist the Chestnut Hills receptionist with package mailing process.
Maintain a clean and organized supply / materials storage area.
Maintains a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality. Observes all company rules and safety procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications : this position requires a high school diploma, computer literacy including strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability and willingness to learn new applications and programs as needed. Experience with Supply Hawk software and inventory control preferred.
Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Physical demands may include standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, reaching, sitting for 1 to 2 hours at a time, lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing stairs, repetitive motion. Ability to communicate verbally including articulation and enunciation to be heard and understand and to perceive and understand verbal and written communication is required as is the ability to communicate in writing, use personal computers, telephones and other standard office equipment and to operate a motor vehicle in the course of business.
Working conditions : Warehouse, loading dock, clinical areas, and office environment.
