Security Guard
General Purpose:
Responsible for the day to day operations of the department of Security for Judson. The Guard will work with the Director along with department heads, employees and residents on identifying opportunities to create a safe and risk free environment. The Guard will work with the Director to conduct all organizational activities in accordance with Judson policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversight for the safety and security of residents and employees and their property.
- Monitor existing security systems and procedures and make adjustments as required.
- Handle all in-coming telephone calls in a professional manner and direct calls to proper authorities.
- Ensures secure environment for Judson assets by conducting safety/security rounds of the facility and monitoring the department’s cameras and alarms.
- Investigate and report to Director any reported losses from residents, visitors, or staff.
- Investigate and report to Director any incidents that may affect residents, visitors, staff, or the well-being of the organization.
- Conduct monthly fire/safety drills on all three shifts in accordance with the Ohio Department of Health.
- Oversee parking issues/violations/hang-tags and FOB’s of Judson.
- Handling staff scheduling to insure coverage, issue two week schedule a week in advance.
- Maintain a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality.
- Coordinate Resident Reserved parking space assignments and adjust and reassign as needed.
- Observe all company rules and safety/security procedures.
- Available to work any and all shifts to accomplish departmental shift coverage, objectives and staffing needs.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:
(TBD) High School diploma; Security past experience; good writing skills; Prior staff scheduling experience. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Provides “Outstanding Customer Service” to all encountered.

Office environment to include outside duties in winter/summer months.
Snow shoveling from entrances –winter months
