About Judy’s Hope Foundation: The mission of Judy’s Hope is to provide alternative and safe housing options for women and children healing from broken places while also equipping women to live in stability with a strong spiritual foundation once they step out on their own. The Case Manager will report to and assist the Executive Director while being the main point of contact and coordinator for each program licensee (also referred to as participant). The expectations for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position Overview-The Case Manager is critical in supporting program participants throughout their journey. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is the primary advocate for women navigating our program, providing guidance, structure, and personalized support to help them meet program requirements and achieve long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Faith-Based Leadership
Facilitate Biblical studies and faith-based programming, incorporating Biblical principles into the overall participant experience.
Mentor participants on their faith journey, fostering group discussions and personal reflection. Program Development & Coordination
Design, implement, and evaluate programs addressing personal development, career training, financial literacy, and wellness.
Maintain a program calendar, coordinating activities and events that align with organizational goals.
Monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Participant Support
Facilitate group classes, coach participants, and provide one-on-one counseling to foster personal and spiritual growth.
Assist in the intake and orientation process, clearly identifying each participant’s needs and goals.
Develop, oversee, and evaluate individualized daily schedules for participants through each program phase.
Deliver direct, personalized services to meet the unique needs of each participant.
Program Monitoring & Evaluation
Track participants’ progress, documenting achievements and areas for improvement in detailed reports to the Executive Director.
Administer participant surveys to assess program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
Volunteer Coordination
Recruit and train volunteers, assigning specific tasks such as teaching, event support, or childcare.
Create and maintain schedules for volunteers and part-time employees to ensure proper program coverage.
Provide clear task guides and foster an engaging, positive volunteer environment.
Collaboration & Community Engagement
Build and maintain a network of therapists, case managers, and social workers to enhance referral services.
Identify new community service providers to provide optimal support for program participants.
Coordinate with community service providers to expand available resources for participants.
Maintain relationships with local education partners, including the CMCSS Families in Transition (F.I.T.) program, and oversee bus transportation arrangements. General Support
Facilitate support groups and organize community events in collaboration with the Executive Director.
Collaborate with the Program Assistants to plan and organize children’s activities during holidays and school breaks.
Assist in maintaining participant files and preparing data for grant applications.
Alternate on-call duties with staff to address participant emergencies or incidents outside standard hours.
Facilities Oversight
Assist the Executive Director and Program Assistants with program needs and participant goals tasks.
Oversee daily checks of the cleanliness of the tiny houses in collaboration with the Program Assistants.
Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure transportation for participants, including medical appointments and program activities.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
2 years of experience in social work, counseling, or a related area.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
