What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Associate, Israel Education Center position at JUF Brand?

The salary range for this role is $45,000-$55,000.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
You will be responsible for supporting the Israel Education Center (IEC) team with leadership activities and programs related to program high school and college students. You will also help with research, strategy, and crisis response work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support IEC in creating leadership building opportunities and programming in the field.
- Implement campus civics and leadership programs.
- Manage and supervise student interns.
- Partner with Hillels to build student leadership capacity.
- Develop educational sessions for training interns and other student leaders when needed, assist with speaker tours, logistics for programming, and be available to attend and monitor anti-Israel and antisemitic activity.
- Work with various professionals within the Jewish United Fund and in the larger community to increase knowledge of IEC programs.
- Monitor news sites, campus websites, and campus-related social media updates and research topics of interest to IEC work and partners.
- Attend JUF staff meetings and assist with other duties assigned.
- Possible weekend, evening, and travel required.
- Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with the Israel-related-campus landscape is required
- Familiarity with Hillel and Jewish campus life
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Flexible mindset as priorities change and ability to multi-task within time constraints
- Comfort with and interest in coaching, mentoring and supporting students as they navigate their personal, communal and academic development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Products
- Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred
