What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist -- $5,000 Sign on Bonus position at JUHSD?
Post-doctoral clinical hours towards licensure with CAPIC (California Psychology Internship Council)-approved program (1,500 hours possible over 10-month period towards requirements as a Licensed Psychologist—possible also to get if pre-doctoral on a case-by case basis). Post-Doc Training includes :
- Individual 1-on-1 supervision with District Lead Psychologist
- Clinical case consultation and training in therapeutic interventions for students both individually and in groups (using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, etc.), to include all levels of intervention (Tiers 1, 2, and 3 for both general education and special education students)
- ERMHS assessment and DSM -5 diagnoses for both internalizing and externalizing symptoms
- Training for implementation of Educationally Related Mental Health Services (Case conceptualization, Treatment Plan, Progress monitoring, Trauma-informed interventions) A successful candidate will also possess experience in educational, instructional, cultural, and social programs and activities that are traditionally found in a comprehensive high school.
