Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Restaurant Cashier to join our team! This role involves handling transactions, taking to-go orders, packing food, and seating guests while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers with a welcoming attitude
- Take to-go orders over the phone and in person
- Accurately process payments (cash, credit, debit) and handle the cash register
- Pack and check orders for accuracy before handing them to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Assist with basic customer inquiries and provide menu recommendations
- Work efficiently during busy hours, especially nights and weekends
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service (restaurant experience preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling cash transactions
- Availability to work night shifts, including weekends
Starting pay: $11/hour tips
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
