Duties : Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records for the preparation of financial statements. Process and maintain daily banking activities, reconcile cash and bank general ledgers, monitor financial activities and support other accounting roles to ensure financial control and compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. Complete external and internal audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts, and interface with Tokyo HQ and various departments to ensure compliance with J Sox. Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data and activities to identify or investigate financial reporting issues.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field of study with a concentration in foreign currency accounting plus 2 years of experience in accounting. Fluency in Japanese required, as well an understanding of Japanese business culture.
