What You’ll Do:
As the AGM, you’ll be the right hand to the General Manager, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional service, and a well-maintained restaurant. Your responsibilities include:
Operational Excellence
- Maintain store cleanliness and presentation to uphold Jules high standards.
- Oversee product ordering and manage inventory, placing timely orders with suppliers.
- Ensure food quality and safety through proper storage, sanitation, and organization.
- Monitor customer flow to optimize team performance during both busy and slow periods.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Vegetarian offerings.
Customer Service Focus
- Greet customers warmly and ensure orders are accurate and timely.
- Minimize customer wait times while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Proactively resolve customer issues with a commitment to friendly, solution-focused service.
- Monitor phones to ensure inquiries are answered promptly.
Team Leadership & Development
- Direct and motivate staff to stay on task during slow periods and provide hands-on support during busy times.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to balance workloads and meet business goals.
- Manage hourly employees, including coaching, assigning tasks, and providing discipline when needed.
- Inspire collaboration, teamwork, and a culture of excellence within the team.
- Foster growth by setting clear goals for yourself and your team.
Leadership & Problem-Solving
- Prioritize operational needs while effectively multitasking.
- Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Provide leadership support with operational tasks to achieve goals set by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- ServSafe Certified preferred, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team while maintaining high standards of service.
- A proven commitment to excellence in customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
