We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services, schedule sales calls and service appointments, and recommend solutions in person and over the phone. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Essential Job Duties:
- Must provide excellent customer services.
- Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.
- Ability to interpret price tag and UPC information.
- Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Promptly answer phone calls.
- Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise.
- Conduct water analysis testing.
- Accurately and efficiently schedule services.
- Ensure shelves are stocked and manage inventory.
- Maintain a clean and positive store environment for customers.
Required Skills:
- Ability to accurately and efficiently operate store equipment (including but not limited to telephone, copiers, fax machines and computers.
- Ability to process merchandise information through store computer system, POS register system.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures.
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
