ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Associate with our agency, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with Agent and other team members to assist with new and current customers.
• Providing friendly, prompt and accurate customer service.
• New customer quoting and onboarding.
• Obtaining underwriting documents from customers and submitting to corporate office.
• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy/billing changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Directing and assisting current clients with appropriate claim assistance.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
• Property and Casualty license required.
• Accountable, honest and solution oriented.
• Strong communication skills over phone and email.
• Friendly and approachable while working with others.
• Ability to see the bigger picture beyond the task at hand.
