Our office has two locations, Midtown Miami and Hallendale. We see patients in both locations each week. Reliable transportation is a must
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays / deductibles
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient service
- Manage the front desk area and keep it clean and organized
Experience:
- Strong Insurance verification knowledge is required
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Summary
