Responsibilities
- Assist in all phases of asphalt paving, sealcoating, and repair
- Shovel, rake, and smooth asphalt to ensure a uniform finish
- Operate various tools and small equipment related to asphalt work
- Follow safety guidelines and wear provided protective equipment
- Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Experience
- Experience in asphalt or a similar field is preferred, but we will train the right candidate
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials and working in hot conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license is required
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
