Core Development is a global team of technologists who architect, build and maintain our world-class trading platform. From optimizing our core trading engine to building custom hardware, we leverage software & hardware engineering, data science and research, to deliver the infrastructure and tools that drive our trading and business needs.
We are seeking an experienced UI / UX Designer to join our expanding UX team. In this role, you will focus on improving and developing our suite of back-office applications that are vital tools for firm-critical business functions like technology and clearing.
What You'll Do :
- Understand and analyze complex internal customer requirements and technological challenges to propose elegant UX solutions that are feature-rich yet user-friendly.
- Learn and document detailed user requirements and identify areas where your work can drive the most business impact.
- Synthesize and present UX research to stakeholders, pinpointing areas for improvement and delivering on feature roadmaps.
- Utilize modern design tools, especially Figma, with a high degree of craft and UX focus to provide detailed specifications that cover workflow scenarios and accelerate engineering implementation.
- Contribute to and utilize an existing design system for a unified look-and-feel across a wide portfolio of applications, driving ongoing improvements to the component library.
- Propose user experiences that lead to cost-effective and efficient development cycles.
- Advocate for the adoption of the right mix of platform components with various engineering teams to ensure consistency and ease of use.
- Embed and work collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver incremental improvements.
