Amazing Athletes is seeking energetic, outgoing, and reliable part-time coaches and assistant coaches to lead sports and fitness classes for children in Southeast Phoenix, primarily for ages 3-5 and 6-10.
This is a part-time position with the possibility of growth as our programs expand.
Available Hours (up to 6 hours per week) :
- Monday : 3 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 PM
- Tuesday : 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 30 PM OR 3 : 15 PM - 4 : 15 PM
- Wednesday : 2 : 30 PM - 4 : 30 PM OR 3 : 30 PM - 4 : 30 PM
- Thursday : 3 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 PM OR 3 : 30 PM - 4 : 30 PM
- Friday : 3 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 PM OR 3 : 30 PM - 4 : 30 PM
Responsibilities :
- Lead structured sports and fitness classes based on our approved curriculum and lesson plans.
- Arrive on time and prepared for each class.
- Engage with children and communicate effectively with parents, school directors, and teachers.
- Manage class attendance and ensure a positive, energetic environment.
- Wear our approved uniform and maintain a professional image.
- Report children's progress to parents and facility directors as needed.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain and transport necessary equipment for classes.
Requirements :
- Must be available to work flexible hours in the late afternoons (as listed above).
- Must have a love of working with children and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Experience with young children is preferred; background checks required.
- Athletic background or interest in sports is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, and lifting equipment.
- Background check / FBI fingerprinting required (as per state regulations).
