What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Multi Sport Coach position at JumpBunch of Phoenix - East Valley?
Amazing Athletes is hiring enthusiastic, reliable, mobile coaches and assistant coaches for part-time opportunities in Tempe and Southeast Phoenix. You will teach sports classes at various schools and daycares. This is a flexible, part-time role with the potential for growth.
Available Hours (Up to 6 hours/week):
- Monday Afternoons: 3:00pm - 4:00pm
- Tuesday Afternoons: 2:30pm - 3:30pm or 3:15pm - 4:15pm
- Wednesday Afternoons: 2:30pm - 4:30pm or 3:30pm - 4:30pm
- Thursday Afternoons: 3:00pm - 4:00pm or 3:30pm - 4:30pm
- Friday Afternoons: 3:00pm - 4:00pm or 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fun and engaging sports classes for children aged 3-10 using a structured curriculum.
- Ensure classes run smoothly by setting up and managing equipment.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and energetic learning environment for kids.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff.
- Maintain attendance and track students’ progress.
- Adhere to the program’s policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a passion for working with children.
- Previous experience working with young children is a plus (background checks required).
- Athletic background (participation or coaching) preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
- Flexible schedule for afternoon shifts on weekdays.
- Ability to physically engage with children (e.g., bend, jump, move quickly).
- Ability to follow lesson plans and work independently.
- Must pass a background check and/or FBI fingerprinting (as required by state law).
