Responsibilities
- Respond to and manage support tickets related to website modifications and minor technical issues.
- Implement small updates and adjustments using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges for clients.
- Provide basic assistance with custom site features and modifications.
- Collaborate with the development team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Learn and utilize GitHub for version control.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand issues and provide effective solutions.
- Optimize minor site features for performance and SEO when applicable.
- Test and verify small updates before deploying them live.
Qualifications (Required)
- 1-2 years of experience in web development, tech support, or customer service roles involving web technologies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Comfortable with basic troubleshooting and modifying existing code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
- Willingness to learn Git/GitHub and follow version control workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets effectively.
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have)
- Experience with WordPress or custom site platforms.
- Familiarity with templating languages (Twig, Blade, Timber, etc.).
