Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Coax Splicer to join our team. We are hiring for our Kansas City, MO BAU projects. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious with previous coax splicing experience and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade existing plant, plant extension, and new building construction
• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable
• Troubleshoot outages and determine the causes
• Respond promptly to call-outs or notifications for service
• Report on all work completed, including any concerns, complications that arise, and reasons for delays

Qualifications

• Previous coax splicing experience required
• Ability to use Viavi meters and TDRs
• Relevant training and/or certification is preferred but not required
• Understanding of all federal safety regulations
• Ability to read CATV design and understand prints
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time-management skills
