Duties
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state standards and promote child development.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and evaluation to ensure a high-quality teaching team.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management to maintain operational efficiency.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to promote engagement and support.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health/safety standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make improvements as necessary.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance the preschool's mission and vision.
Experience
- A degree from a recognized university in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in managing an educational institution or program, preferably in a preschool setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within an educational context is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
