Requirements/Responsibilities
Automation Technician Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in automation, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams.
* Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, and other automation systems.
* Certification in automation technology, electronics, or a related field is a plus.
* Familiarity with automation software and tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Basic knowledge of inventory control practices.
