This position will also provide classroom and clinical education for Avamere Nursing Assistant Level 1 Program. The Primary Instructor is responsible for screening, interviewing, and placement of students in each cohort. Cohorts include 96 hours of classroom / Lab and 75 hours of Clinical.
Job Summary
The NA Instructor will provide instruction within the Nursing Assistant Program at Avamere Living. The instructor must be current and competent in the Nursing Assistant Scope of Practice and core curriculum objectives included in all courses. The position requires a high level of organizational skills. The NA Instructor is responsible for instructing courses and correlating laboratory exercises for each course they teach. The instructor’s responsibilities include clinical instruction and evaluation. Excellent communication skills are essential. The incumbent must be able to motivate and inspire students. The NA Instructor ensures that course and clinical laboratory exercises meet course objectives, for each course they teach.
