What are the responsibilities and job description for the Testing Proctor - Temporary position at Junction City School?
The person in this position is supervised by the building administrator and will work in conjunction with the licensed staff. This person will be responsible for implementing a technology-based assessment program with elementary school students and be able to implement the "assessment accommodations" as approved by ODE for all students. This person will also be responsible for assisting with the school-wide Easy CBM assessment three times yearly as well as providing progress monitoring as needed; training will be provided. This position is temporary for the current school year only and the hours and days will be scheduled at the building administrator's discretion. Total hours worked will not exceed 50 hours. The person may also be required to provide "assessment accommodations" for special needs students.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Must be willing to be fingerprinted for a criminal history records check;
- Have an AA degree, two years of college, or pass a competency exam;
- Experience with positive behavior support systems;
- Ability to work positively and cooperatively with classroom teachers, and school administrators to successfully complete assessment program;
- Written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to understand, maintain, and ethically work with confidential information;
- Ability and willingness to learn and support school and District rules and policies;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to work with elementary age students;
- Strong organizational / recordkeeping skills;
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a current first aid card.
