Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using Resy.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating and service flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant’s menu, hours, and services.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide exceptional guest relations to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
• Support other restaurant staff as needed during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
