- Provide light custodial office duty and occasional lunch custodial duty coverage.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the sorting and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail. The employee prepares outgoing mail by attaching necessary postage and re-wrapping when necessary. Position also receives and distributes arriving freight. During summer months a greater portion of time is required by freight receiving responsibilities and a much lesser amount of time is required for mail sorting and delivery.

Compensation: This is a full-time 12-month position, working 37.5 hours per week, with a starting salary of $23.60 per hour. We offer an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) plan, and paid time off. This position is represented by the Juneau Education Support Staff (JESS) bargaining agreement.
Selected hire will be fingerprinted at applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a records check.
