Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities. A typical way to obtain these would be:

- Child development
- File management and record-keeping systems
- Personal computers and related software
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Work with diverse student populations and families.
- Act as a liaison between families and school staff, addressing concerns, providing resources, and fostering open communication.
- Navigate complex family and school situations contributing to improved academic, social, and health outcomes for students and families.
Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities. A typical way to obtain these would be:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed at least two years of post-secondary education.
- Some prior experience working with school-age children is preferred.
- Ability to drive for work purposes and have proof of insurance.
