What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cultivation Techinician position at Jungle Boys?
The Cultivation Technician 1 (CT 1) aids in the production, maintenance, and health of all plants from clone to harvest by performing tasks assigned by the Grow Manager. CT 1 is responsible for maintaining plants by performing all tasks needed during all stages of cultivation.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform general cultivation duties such as de-leafing, lollipopping, cleaning, spraying, topping, hanging trellis, taking plant cuts, transplanting cuts, harvesting, and adjusting lights.
- Understand and adhere to all cultivation schedules.
- Able to follow performance metrics and guidelines.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures for cultivation.
- Follow job safety and health protocols.
- Support other team members throughout the grow as needed as well as supporting outside of grow rooms.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately in a team environment.
- Use PPE as required: gloves, lab coat, tinted eye protection.
- Perform all other duties as necessary and any additional duties assigned by the Cultivation Lead or Manager.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, reach, and squat periodically.
