Weight Out Tech

The weight technician will be responsible for accurately and effectively weighing cannabis flowers into specified increments (1/8, grams, half oz., etc.)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Correctly set up the station to work efficiently.
• Accurately weigh cannabis flowers for distribution.
• Accurately log and update strain sheets.
• Able to weigh out a total of 7 LBS pounds in material per a work day.
• Ensure procedures, protocols, and policies are understood and followed.
• Review batch weigh outs to ensure the product is accurate and not damaged (broken nugs, etc.).
• Ensure that equipment is cleaned according to protocol and procedures.
• Ensure all equipment activity and use logs are current and correct. 
• Perform proper cleanliness of bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• General knowledge of weights and measurements with scales
• Strong attention to details
• Effective communication skills to ensure an efficient and productive work environment
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  
  

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  • Entry-level position
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions
• 1 year of experience weighing and packaging cannabis follower or similar environment preferred but not necessary

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
