Primary Objective of Position

Assist bartenders by making sure the bar has been properly and completely stocked and assist in all lounge operations.

Essential Functions

• Provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to all guests making eye contact, smiling and maintaining proper posture.
• Completely fills all ice bins with fresh ice at the beginning of each shift and maintains them throughout the shift.
• Assists bartenders to make sure that the bar has been properly and completely stocked by the prior shift and bringing up to par levels all necessary bar products.
• Assisting the cocktail servers in all lounge operations including, but not limited to, side station set-up, bussing lounge tables and keeping the lounge clean and orderly.
• Works as a member of the restaurant team. Interacts with service crew in a positive manner. Assists others whenever needed.
• Interacts with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, particularly in resolving Guest complaints.
• Anticipate and service the guests needs before requests are made.
• Follow proper time and attendance and uniform procedures.
• Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor at all times in addition to remaining calm during periods of heavy business volumes.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the Dining Room. Maintains highest standard of hygiene and sanitation.
• Follows Health Department standards for hygiene and safe food handling.
• The ability to perform other tasks or project as assigned by Management.

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
• Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.

Qualifications & Requirements:
In addition to the necessary, technical expertise required for this position, the individual must have a proven track record and ability to demonstrate the following:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
• Knowledge of the menu and beverage list and the ability to communicate clear suggestions to the guests.
• Maintain effective operating, safety and control procedures designed to attain maximum operating.
