Primary Objective of Position

Your primary function as a bartender is to take drink orders, prepare mixed drinks and deliver basic service to patrons at the bar.

Essential Functions

• Understands the service procedures of the outlet and ensures that they are properly followed at all times.
• Has complete knowledge of the food and beverage menus being able to recognize and describe each dish and drink.
• Is aware of the special events, promotions, and any kind of information related to the outlet.
• Making sure that the all stations related to bar are properly set up (cleanliness and standard). All fridges and other bar related goods stocked up and ready for service and inform if something on the item list or beverage menu is missing to the Bar supervisor or/and the Restaurant manager.
• To know by heart all the Beverage menu and the recipes of all cocktails and to be able to make them quickly with no variations on taste or texture to the original recipe.
• Is responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, at the beginning and at the end of his shift.
• Is responsible of making sure that the all stations related to bar are properly set up and with all bar utensils available and clean. All fridges and other bar related goods stocked up and ready for service and inform if something on the item list or beverage menu is missing to the Bar supervisor or/and the Restaurant manager.
• Coaches, trains and works in close collaboration with the runner/ commis waiter.
• Attends briefings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Physical Demands

• This position requires long hours of standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
• It is a must that this person is physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
• This position may require you to work in adverse weather conditions like rain, cold and the summer heat.
• Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience as Bartender.
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
• Basic math and Computer skills
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and technique.
