As an Entry-Level Purchasing and Inventory Clerk, you’ll have the opportunity to affect what happens in our stores every day. Our Purchasing and Inventory department directly supports all of our Managers and Buyers and is an integral part of maintaining the selection and variety that Jungle Jim's is known for. There are always opportunities for advancement at Jungle Jim’s, and many of our support personnel have moved up into key positions in the company. Job Duties
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
- Review purchase orders from department Managers and Buyers for completeness and accuracy.
- Submit purchase orders to Vendors. Confirm receipt of purchase orders.
- Log submission of invoices to be processed and paid.
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently to maintain perpetual inventory.
- Work with Pricing and Accounts Payable to ensure smooth and seamless product cycle and invoice payment.
- Additional tasks and duties as circumstances warrant. Expect the unexpected!
