Position Summary Information
Key Responsibilities Juniata College invites applications for the position of Part-time Assistant Track and Field Coach.
Preference will be given to Jumps / Throws candidates. The assistant coach will be responsible for the development and application of all components of the assigned event group programming for indoor and outdoor track seasons (candidates with both jumps and throws backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
Responsibilities during the Track seasons include, but are not limited to; development of specific training sessions for each athlete, oversight of the training of assigned event groups at practice, coaching and support of athletes at competition on the weekends.

Supervision Required / Given This position reports to the Head Coach for Track & Field. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and capabilities normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
- Ability to move around large event areas
