Student Financial Services Manager
Juniata College is seeking an experienced Student Financial Services Manager to lead our Student Financial Planning office. This role involves overseeing the planning and coordination of financial aid programs, services, and office operations, as well as providing administrative support to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and guidance to the Student Financial Planning team, ensuring effective delivery of financial aid services.
- Collaborates with College offices and external agencies to resolve related processing, certification, and payment issues.
- Acts as a liaison for the PHEAA Pennsylvania State Grant program and other special programs, analyzing and resolving student eligibility issues.
- Oversees the administration of private loans for students and parents, including review of application information, determining eligibility, and certifying loans.
- Monitors campus employment and earnings, serving as the primary contact regarding work study.
- Ensures the development of forms, letters, fact sheets, and other informational materials necessary for specific financial aid functions and processes.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, faculty, and staff. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education is required, along with one to three years of related experience in student support services or client support services.
